We inaugurated our first processing facility in Kuwait to manufacture frozen beef burgers and minced meat, marking the commencement of our frozen food production journey.

We established a backward integrated poultry facility in Egypt, a strategic move that enhanced our control over the entire value chain.

1985 marked the establishment of our Bakery factory in Kuwait, a facility conceived to craft premium croissants and a diverse range of other baked delicacies.

Our journey into specialized food production took a significant leap forward in 1988 with the establishment of our French Fries processing facility in Egypt, the first of its kind in the region.

We founded a state-of-the-art canned food processing facility, marking a significant expansion of our manufacturing capabilities and introducing a range of high-quality packaged food products.

In 1991, we inaugurated the Cakes and Cookies processing facility in KSA, strategically positioned to serve as a central industrial hub for the entire GCC region.

In 1992, we established a Protein processing facility and launched the ‘Koki’ Brand which quickly became the market leader then and remains at the forefront to date.

In 2004, we set up an additional Protein factory in KSA, underscoring our commitment to meeting the growing demand within the region.

2004 marked our penetration of agribusiness, focused on the processing of frozen fruits and vegetables, playing a pioneering role in advancing the agricultural sector in Egypt.

We have expanded into the Snacks industry in 2005, integrating a selection of savory and sweet treats into our product lineup, establishing in 2007 a new factory to widen our footprint.

In 2017, we acquired our third Protein factory in the UAE, adding to our network of protein facilities across four markets.

In 2023, we took a decisive step toward strengthening our market presence and reach by establishing Alinea Distribution Company, our very own Route-to-Market operation in the UAE.

Having operated the brand for several decades under an exclusive franchise arrangement, we acquired the California Garden Brand in 2024, reinforcing our long-standing commitment to the brand’s legacy and growth.

In January 2024, we embarked on a groundbreaking greenfield project to build a state-of-the-art frozen French Fries manufacturing plant in Riyadh, KSA, set to be commissioned in Q1 2026, further expanding our manufacturing capabilities and serving the growing regional demand with locally grown and produced products.
